I remember Ron bringing me a chart for "Pissant" Sunday morning and
telling me it was a new song he had written earlier in the week. He
said to be ready in case Doc wanted to hear it. I had never heard the
song before and sure enough, Doc called for it. We did the song for the
first and only time and from then on, Doc just played the spot reel
when he wanted to hear it. One take and that was it. That was a lot of
pressure.

Do you know where Ron is now? He was on a lot when I first watched Scott
back in '85 or '86, was a musician and even a VOF from time to time. Did
he get "blowtorched" and leave as well?? Just curious.

I haven't seen Ron since 1992 or so when we were in a recording studio
in Franklin, Tn. with Jim McClarty. Just a visit as I recall. I would
like to see him again sometime. He certainly is a remarkable keyboard
player.

for the memorial Service, or if that would be the last thing on his mind?
